fabregas, van persie, wilshere, sagna, song
then below them it was
koscielny, szczesny, nasri, walcott, arshavin

Why such animosity towards him then if he wasn't so important to you? Not you personally but a lot of your fans in general.

Yes the contracts are longer and I was not suggesting that they won't get their contracts paid out. But the length of contract is limited to 3/4 years. Top paying clubs don't offer more than that. Whats more they miss out on plenty of bonuses and they can be sent anywhere on loan. Remember players earn a lot of money from finishing in the 'top 4' or playing International football etc. Players can't practically turn down moves to lower standard clubs because the alternative is absolute anonymity and the £35k I have averaged is down to £10-15k. Look at Hleb as an example!
Players tend to think it won't be them because they will always be in demand. All they have to do is look at Kaka!
Remember the players also get income from player rights from advertising. That money only comes from playing most of the time or player profiles disappear.

To suggest Nasri wasn't one of our best players is ludicrous. The guy is certainly good enough for Man City. He's class.
Stop being so bitter. It looks bad on us.
