I realise that currently the rules against this in the premier league are in place however they have been challenged legally by Bosman’s lawyer and we know he has ‘form’ for winning contract arguments. So what is to stop players in future setting themselves up as Limited Companies once their current contracts expire and signing a contract with their own Limited company. They then tout themselves around the clubs who are willing to pay a loan fee for either one season, two or four. That way the loan fee goes directly to the pocket of the player rather than the club and the club then pay wages as normal?
I realise that this would really change the face of football as we know it and may even kill it completely as clubs would not receive any transfer fee’s. Just wondered if there was a reason I had not heard this muted?
Third Party Ownership

It would beg the question regarding academies though, would players have to pay to use academies and train?
Would they then get shorter contracts?
Player injuries may result in huge lost warnings.
It'd be a minefield...

I dont like Joorbachim's face therefore I dont like 3rd party ownership.
But in answer to your Ltd company idea, I really dont think footballers themselves are that interested in anything apart from playing and then for which club. Does anyone really think that during negotiations players think too much beyond whether:
- theyll be a squad player or 1st 11 starter
- they're getting the money they feel they deserve
- the ambitions of the club
I don't!
