hey ghetto, can see ye a big Liverpool fan!!

but back to the Op, agree totally about Meireles and Aquilani. Our midfield without Gerrard lacks creativity and drive, and remember he is coming up 32/33.

But we need him and Johnson back in midfield, give Suarez the roaming role and play Carroll up front.

Your not accounting for wages.

Liverpool couldn't compete with what City are paying for a start. Added to that Liverpool's wage bill has been reduced in last year or two, so are in a better position now.

United were obviously worried, they played five in midfield to contain our midfield.

And once again, we don't have Adams in our team, he retired years ago, whilst playing for Arsenal!

Stupid Brazilian internationals in our team, what is going on? England international on the wing. U21 Captain in our squad for backup and one of the best player's in the league last season next to Gerrard. Terrible I tell ya, terrible!

It's a team game, not a game of individuals. Suarez on his own cannot win a game.

You need to have balance in midfield.

I remember a midfield consisting of Mascherano not being able to create chances two seasons ago. Not just about individuals.

Well if you consider that was only Stokes second defeat in 22 games at the Britannia, then it doesn't say a lot for the other midfielders who have played there recently does it.
