When to sign a contract

Van Persie originally said he wanted to wait until the end of the year to talk, how do you know Howson didn't say that and that Snodgrass isn't saying that.

Agreed, but I think if it was a possibility Arsenal would offer us atleast £5m aswell.

He'll probably wait til Christmas to see where we are in the table before commiting I suppose

I have no doubt Howson will sign a contract, whilst Snoddy is more likely to leave than Howson, I believe that Leeds is in Snoddy's heart, you can tell from how he acts, how he plays. Even when he's playing bad you can see that passion, sometimes the frustration, he just wants Leeds to do well. I have no doubt that there is a little thought in the back of Rob's head, "Hang on, there's being some great...no legendary Scottish players here at Leeds with great international careers, could I go on to do that here?"

I firmly believe that, without a doubt Jonny will stay at Leeds until he is told that he is surplus to requirements, or that we cannot afford his wages, which will be a very dark day indeed as it would mean we've started the route backwards again.
