The -82ers

Sawyer played very well and looked quality on his debut for us v Derby, and I think he played another game for us away after that where he looked the part aswell. Maybe you just brought him down to your level?

It looks as if ex Italian international Di Canio is to be the next manager of Swindle,so what ex international is Higgs likely to sign to follow Trollope (Englishman who played for Wales) or have the "gasheads" missed out yet again in their quest to conquer the 4th tier.

I thought Sawyer improved towards the end abeit a little too late, but perhaps he will find that confidence in league 2 we will see.
I am certain Buckle is the likely man to come provided Torquay don't go up. I think we would have had someone in by now if it was not him. Maybe Wilson is the second choice and on standby if Buckle decides he does not want to come.

Glad to see the likely lads (wizered and Natch) came across, it would not have been the same without them...lol

Well, Swindon have made their appointment...a strange one, too. So Buckle could be heading this way...

Sawyer is fine so long as he doesn't have to defend which isn't exactly what you want in a League 1 (now League 2) LB. Can get away with it in higher divisions with space to bomb on and better quality defenders covering for his mistakes but this season the rest of our defence couldn't do their own jobs let alone cover for his.

Whoever comes in as manager will have their own ideas on which players should still be here. I can see most of the Trolls harem being shipped out over the Summer one way or another leaving a clean slate for the remaining players to fight for their shirt again which is the only way we will stop the slide.

Would prefer Buckle to Wilson but don't care who it is so long as the pride and fighting spirit is restored.

Why would we need to look that up? The author of this thread stated "this season". He/She didnt specify league only. This season would indicate all goals condeded this season which is more than 82.
