There's an old prayer:
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference.
In other words, AM has gone, doesn't want to be here anymore,
The Board will do their best to get compensation from Villa.
Let's move on and concentrate on the future. AMs gone, wants to be somewhere else, so he can go to hell (and Aston is close enough to that).
One thing is for certain: Ben Foster, Scott Dann, Roger Johnson, Barry Ferguson and anyone else that AM might want to raid, who is under contract with Blues, will not be allowed within ten miles of Villa park.
Having said all that, I'd like to thank the man for Wembley 2011, a brilliant performance masterminded by AM, and the best footballing day in most Blues fans lives.
Now, bring on Chris hughton and lets see some FOOTBALL and GOALS (remember them?)!!!!
KRO
Calm down, calm down.

That may be difficult for home games given that Villa Park is only about 3 miles away from St.Andrews... but I get your point

And access to the internet so I can tell everyone exactly what I think about it all!

Well said....
The concern however is that if Gardner goes and one of Johnson, Dann or Foster then the ship will start to rock.
Then i recon the likes of Ridgewell, Jerome, Ferguson would also want out.
We are going to have to rebuild, we are going to have to go for proven players at this level, even if that means ones who may have to be replaced if Promoted.
As we cant risk getting past it Prem players or players who dont get to kick a ball in the Prem who would however feel they are to good for the Championship.
King for all his personal flaws (Bowyer and Ferguson are not angels) King has proven he can get 4 goals at least every 10 games in this League.
On average in 46 games he should return about 18-20 goals a season.
Right now i say go and get SEB off Wolves maybe if we have to do a swap deal for a player.
If not give then £3M plus addons based on Promotion and SEB sucsess in the Prem.
SEB+King = 40 goals i recon.
Jerome on his Tod under Eck would not get more than 15
