I haven't heard any of KH's comments but if they are as reported I am not concerned or offended in the slightest because he's not talking about me, I support the team whether I'm disappointed or not! And I couldn't care less if those that boo are offended, tough, perhaps you could support the club by staying at home,LOL.
The rest of you, I think you're being over sensitive I can't see what is wrong with KH telling the truth. I have noted on some other bulletins some familiar names in the latter camp, some I know are genuine fans but they are allying themselves with some others who are known for their constant negativity and can't be taken too seriously, as they don't speak for the bulk of us, contrary to what they sometimes seem to believe!
I believe KH is going to do a good job for us, those who seem to want to drive him away, think very carefully, who is going to come here and do a better job; what we do on the pitch is the most important thing to me and so far there's been a massive improvement in the standard of football and results are at least as good as we've seen since our return to the championship.

Keith is not just a good manager, he's a brave man, who will try & implement his own playing style on his team. He did a great job with Rochdale (seen 1st hand, & it hurt), & I think he's made steps with the tykes as well.
Sometimes its easier to boo, so try the hard way & see if it gets better, it might just surprise.

My thoughts exactly Davedrew.
Some people cant see the improvement in the game, the Championship standard is improving every season, and with the increased and extended parachute payments that are to be implemented, that standard is going to improve further.
With this in mind and our current financial position our club is going to struggle to compete with the quality of players available to us, hence the importance to retain a manager that can bring on lesser known players and possibly generate income by their sale.
Keith Hill has an excellent record of this wheeling and dealing and getting Rochdale FC a healthy profit.
Love him or loath him, give the man a chance to turn the team around, to use his quote," judge me after 46 games"
After Mark Robins budget walk out strop and the Reds finance plight being made public, I dont recall a list of better known managers knocking down our doors.
After the quote on BBS from Don Rowing our wage bill was £8.5 mill and we have a shortfall of £4mill being made up by the board (PC) I dont think it would be a wise move to move Hillcroft on.
I for one would like to see this balance sheet,
I bet S Daveys and M Robins names are still on the books.

I'm more than happy we've got Keith Hill at the club, I think he's doing a good job and we've seen real progress in the style of play, work ethic and team spirit.
If we had been able to turn just a couple of the draws into wins we'd be sitting comfortably in mid-table on 19 points and everbody would be reasonably happy.
Unfortunately, we are where we are and although we deserved to get something out of Saturday's match, we didn't and that game's gone now.
Hopefully we'll bounce back tomorrow night against high-flying Hull City and I'll be there supporting the team and manager........and I won't be booing even if things are going against us.
C'mon u Reddddddsssss.

dd, writing as probably one ot the "latter" I have never criticised Hill except for his "oversensitive" reactions to supporters. I have faith in Hill to keep us in the Championship but he needs to concentrate on what he does best the football side of things. Some things are better left unsaid and the hole he dug is getting larger.

Hill is defending his players...nowt wrong with that...

U7380, I'm sure you're a genuine fan but Spart is right, it's good management to defend the player's from the 'dog's abuse' that some think is the way forward.
Those people who think that the booing helped the improved second half performance are not thinking very hard, all of the empirical evidence suggests that that theory is nonsense.
Hill may be clumsy with his words and some people are waiting to pounce on his every mistake but these are not people I can take very seriously, I think they're negative people with negative lives and see the worst in everything and everybody; they'll never be my 'gurus', LOL.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll say but let's be honest somtimes it it hilarious,
"Bobby is still feeling his groin" - KH Commenting on the extent of Hassell's injury.
Paul Walker: "Which superlatives would you use to describe the Butterfield goal"
KH: "Errrrrmmmm................... Marvellous”
Still the sour atmosphere at Oakwell really does annoy me, I for one have never booed the players, well maybe Maceo Rigters but it is uncalled for and it needs to be adressed. Great result tonight!
