What's With All The Koscielny Loving?

Here's a quote from the Independent:

While Van Persie was excellent, Aaron Ramsey showed great maturity and Theo Walcott, probably for the first time, got the better of Ashley Cole. Song and Laurent Koscielny were as good as any of them.

Koscielny, outstanding in Marseille, delivered another performance of polish and grit with one late block to deny Juan Mata straight out of the Tony Adams textbook. It increasingly looks that when Thomas Vermaelen returns it will be Per Mertesacker, the much-capped German international, who gives way, not Koscielny.

Glad he is getting all the recognition he deserves but only a few weeks back almost everyone esp. the media were saying he was crap!!

"Hernandez is one of the best finishers though you gotta admit and his movement is one of the best. But yes, he is rubbish at everything else. Hate to say it, but he would be perfect for us right now. Someone we can rely on to finish when RVP is injured/rested. Park looks decent but not properly tested and the less said about Chamakh the better."

You are a disgrace to the human race. Hernandez is a disgrace to the human race. You two are a match made in heaven.

Hernandez

Hernandez scored 25 odd goals in his first season at United. Being in the right place at the right time is priceless. Remember Gervinho's miss yesterday and his miss against spurs? Obviously I'd rather have Gervinho than Hernandez any day of the week but everyone in the country would put their house on Hernandez taking both the opportunities.

I like you Verminator, but saying that Hernandez is good (at anything) is just wrong in so many ways.

I'd take Gary Taylor-Fletcher over Hernandez

The only Arsenal player I've ever over-criticized is probably Squillaci. Aaand maybe Jenkinson

It's impossible to over-criticise Jenkinson.

Ouch bit harsh

Only thing harsher I've ever hear on ja606 is when some Chelsea fans called Lukaku 'the black andy carrol' yesterday after the match. Ouch

it's funny, all the Gooners who have been slating him will suddenly agree he's amazing and they knew all along. until our next signing who has a bad game, they will write him off and say he's useless, Wenger's a mug and blah blah.

Koscielny's starting to get some of the credit he deserves but from arsenal fans, now i think you might be going slightly overboard with the praise.
