All he does is sidewards, back and 5 yard passes with the odd tackle, can someone explain why the british media laud him?

you can't exactly talk about tiote targeting players when thugs from your team are headbutting him for no reason

It's a good point he does make an awful lot of short passes in his own half - passes to y, y passes back, passes to y again, y passes back, passes to x, x passes back, passes to z....
Captain of club finishes bottom and picks up a pfa award....just doesn't seem right.

Andy, have a word mate.
Was enjoying your mobs mini-revival but this silly troll is in danger of making me hate you again!
Such arrogance, a sense of entitlement based on what?

I was at the match today and anyone who actually saw it and knows even the slightest thing about football would have to acknowledge it was a great display from Parker. However; anyone who's not privileged to have such a player in the team they support would feel duty-bound to state otherwise but would just end up making themselves look ridiculous - as illustrated by this very thread and some of the comments on it.

Rockney
I was at the game yesterday, his movement, and tracking back was immense!
I know it was only QPR! but he was the best player on the pitch

If Parker stays fit he will be one of the main factors when Spurs get CL this season.
The type of player that Spurs have needed for a long time.

Parker's old school. He smokes a pipe at half-time and uses empty pie tins as shin guards
