The Curious Case of Gullit's Dreadlocks

I'll have to ask the admins to leave this one up because its a serious topic among Chelsea fans on this thread. There's a fine line between being negative and just downright annoying. GD is obviously the latter. He is either a glory hunting kid(that goes to games), a very subtle WUM or just very distanced from the rest of the club's fans. He sees our transition as decline while also stating that Arsenal are in transition. He's quick to believe the worst of Terry without full consideration of the possibility of a misunderstanding especially when no one has actually accused terry. He never praises the team when we win and is quick to point out our faults even in victory. Never accepts he could be wrong. Sometimes, I think he's whatnext using a new style. Don't know what he'd have done during last season's 'bad moment'. I'm pretty sure a lot of blues have filtered him but I won't. I think he's tried some other forums and found ours to be the one where he's most accepted. He sees the rest of us fans as everything that is wrong with Chelsea. He feels we give the club a bad name and are the reason why other fans laugh at us when we lose( very naive). Just wanted to know what y'all think of this very curious 'chelsea supporter'. He'll probably just report this article but i feel i've got to say my mind on this.

No I can't. And there is no paper round where I live, and I am 17 and working on my A2s, hardly have time for jobs.

I go to a few games a season, doesn't amke me less of a fan than you.

Mata.

Fair enough its just a forum. Its where you are and respected in the real world that counts. Thankfully I'm where I want to be.

1969, Your 3rd point is hypocrytical. I'll tell you why. You think just because you contribute and post (well lack of) optimistic threads and don't say any of the negative problems you have a right to slag off a fan you know nothing about does. Even though I go to games, I'm considered a plastic. Ok then.

A question for all you who know it all. Where was I when we lost to United. Give you a clue....check my posts at the match date...food for though.

That means your in no position to attack and judge me on the type of fan I am just because of what I post. Which I might add is serious and no joke or WUM. I always welcome mature replies that agree and disagree so we can have a good healthy inter-fan debate.

Anyways good luck on your studies, I want chelsea to have as many fans going to games as possible. If you do well, you'll get a good job and afford to go to more games. Fingers crossed.

Guys this is too funny, but in all seriousness the civil war has got to stop.

All this about die hard fans and glory hunters who cares, aren't most top team fans glory hunters do all barca and real and manu fans come from the locality no, so I for one welcome glory hunters because they will fill our cuffers, merchandise we sell is due to these fans, the more we win the more our fanbase increases. I loved going back to my place of upbringing lagos nigeria and see almost every one in my street wearing the beautiful blue of my beloved club, it made me proud regardless of what made them follow chelsea (which i suspect is the players, the success, the drama and action our team brings to TV, but people can kill, when rival fans taunt, now that is loyalty). So please blues fans stop the fighting, a fan is a fan, it really does not matter how and when you support your team. Let me end by saying that a genuine chelsea jersey is worth more to some people in Africa than their own family so trust me if they had the means, a very important thing is to get a Genuine jersey and other merchandise of the team you support.

I stressed the importance of glory hunters on one of my threads with the same justification and got slated for being a wum so be careful what you say on here, uness its one rule for one (me).

I'm from Nigeria and have never been to the Bridge but i Know that I'm not a glory hunter. I know the day I get the money and a Visa, I'll be in Stamford Bridge faster than anyone could say 'Jack Wilshere is Overrated'. And no matter how low the club goes, i'll follow them. Its loyalty. I joined the club when they were low and i'll stick by them. So will a lot of these 'glory hunting fans from Africa'. So losing games doesn't mean we'll lose fans, heck Arsenal despite their horrible performances in recent years still have a great very loyal following here in Nigeria with dreams to visit Emirates. When I was younger, I had two that wept whenever Arsenal left the Champions League. So, don't think bad performances chase away many fans. Its highly myopic. Any glory hunting fan here in my country who leaves the club when performances are bad would never have invested their money in the club in the first place.

The above two - you sound genuine fans. What gives African blues a bad rep is when you read the drivel beyond stupidity from people commenting on stuff like the Chelsea Facebook page/other popular football sites. And they post 95% of the comments there so clearly the minority don't get heard much

But what you've written about fans in Nigeria suggests otherwise..

As for 1969 I've been supporting Chelsea before you could even run. Where were you when Chelsea came 11th under glen hoddle? I've been a Chelsea fan far longer than you for you to question me as a fan.

I can only assume that you're mistaking Liquidator 14.59 (when you keep referring to 1969 or Chelsea since Summer) for me. You can't be talking about me because when it comes to being a proper supporter, I'm a very different kettle of fish. Read my profile old son you'll see that when it comes to "My Dad's bigger than your Dad" there are few on here with better credentials than me.

Alright people with the same names I just can't keep track. Yea no offence to you then mate I can see the maturity in you already due to the fact that I've got names mistaken.

As for Isuzu..

Now lad, I've not even had a run in with you, never even noticed you existed on this forum (no offence). Yet your not even from london, never been to the bridge and have the audacity to create a hate thread against me regarding my loyalty as a chelsea fan? I've been a chelsea fan for over 16 years now been to well over 100 games yet you actually want to question me based on a few articles I've created not about anyone on here but about my team.?? That just shows how pathetic this chelsea board has become, but as I said before, its water off a ducks back for me. Being known and making a name for yourself seems to be of high importance to some. I on the other hand don't seek that, I just keep myself to my teams board and post what's on my mind and concerning me. Nothing wrong with any of my posts.
