Och aye the noo...Nice to see huddersfield Town with a player in the Scotland squad, first since Denis Law would you believe...
Am obviously pleased for Jordan, and hope he does well if he gets on for the friendly in Cyprus on Nov 11th, followed by another under 21 appearance in the Netherlands on the 14th.
This will rule him out of the FA cup tie at Swindon, and probably even more league games during the rest of the season. He's already missed 2 or 3 town games, so this raises another question.
With Alan Lee racking up the bookings, suspended on saturday, and no doubt he will be ever more targetted by the dodgy refs in this league, he's guaranteed to have more suspensions as the season progresses. With McRhodes quite possibly on international duty at the same time, this leaves us with one striker...
We could bring Cads in, but this would cause a change in playing style I guess ...and maybe upset our promotion push.?
And what if Novak gets injured....oh, worry worry worry...

jacko im talking about if we are short of strikers with rhodes international exploits and if lee gets more suspensions. weve got the young kid cham thing hes called an danny ward can easily play as a striker. to cover so we prob dont need any loadn strikers in etc.
please do keep up dear! haha

Tez...oh...it was the small 'c', rather than a capital C, as in Cham, that got me...thought it was one of your made up words...
I'll try and keep it together , but with all this stuff about LC to LC, 42 games unbeaten record, new managers , suspensions and international call ups...I think I'm losing it...

Jordan should actually decline this cap.
They are only playing him so he can't play for England, the manager said as much. Rhodes said on TalkSport he would not turn his back on Scotland if England came calling it's as if his word isn't good enough. He would not be getting this call up if he wasn't English. Sorry Jordan but can't understand any Englishman wanting to play for that 3rd World shower.

get ryan giggs and others to honestly tell him what they would do in hindsight... he can always hang fire and play for the republic of ireland at a later date, everyone else who didnt get the england call has invented an irish past of some description..
depends how good he really thinks he could become.. going to school for a few years there does not make him a scotsman..
still best play now for an international side, in a few years time anyone will be allowed to play for anyone that they choose..
I guess we will "inherit" a few good africans and a couple of south americans with a slight affiliation to england..

I actually stand corrected on the England thing. As this is only a friendly Jordan could still play for England if he chose, something i was not aware of. Therefore it sounds like he has earned this on merit and i'm very proud of one of our players getting the recognition, even if it is for them lot up there.
