Skysports.com understands Doncaster are lining up a move for West Brom striker Marc-Antoine Fortune.
Doncaster boss Dean Saunders is looking to continue his reshaping of the squad at the Keepmoat Stadium by bringing in Fortune on a short-term deal.
Fortune has slipped down the pecking order at West Brom this season, with his only start coming in the Carling Cup win over Bournemouth in August.
Shane Long, Peter Odemwingie, Somen Tchoyi and Simon Cox are all ahead of Fortune in Roy Hodgson's first-team plans at West Brom.
West Brom could be willing to loan out Fortune so that he can get some valuable first-team action under his belt.
Rovers have shown their ambition in the transfer market by luring El-Hadji Diouf, Pascal Chimbonda and Herita Ilunga to South Yorkshire and they are hoping to strike a deal for Fortune.

Unfortunately our "ambition" doesn't seem to be doing us much good at the moment.
