I know I shouldn't but I've been reading the Daily Phail, amongst others, and they're saying the team for tonight is:

Szczesny

Jenkinson Kos Merte Santos


Arteta Song Rosicky

Benayoun RvP Arshavin



What do they know that we don't? This team won't keep out a fast-paced counter attacking bunch of Frenchies in a million years. Nor will it score to win the game. send three and fourpence, we're going to a dance.........................

It's probably not far off what the actual team will be. I'm not sure if Benayoun will start, but Rosicky is due a game (and Ramsey a little break), and a right-back by trade in Jenkinson would usually get in ahead of a make-shift right-back in Djourou.

Agree with you about the "make-shift" Djourou but that team doesn't exactly inspire confidence....

Benayoun will be starting too. He is fit again but could play against Chelsea because of the loan issue.
By the way, do you think he wants to go back to Chelsea now?

I was quite impressed with Benayoun against Bolton in the Carling Cup. He's got experience and stays calm which could be quite handy tonight. We've got to learn to trust our squad I think.

JJG..... Quite agree BUT Arshavin? Rosicky? Why can't M. Wenger let Park get a run out? I would love to see this guy at top level.
