A note on the ref's angle on this, the letter of the law is one thing, but they are also given carte blanche to interpret those rules with an element of common sense.
An example would be the 15y.o who came on for Wycombe at the weekend, scored a worldy in his first pro game, and got booked for running over to his mum for a .
Yes the letter of the law says it's a yellow, but the ref should have had a bit of sense of the occasion and let him off with a warning
