seems we are on course to match your unbeaten record of 42 games...
Do you care (probably not), but how did you feel about your unbeaten run..did it end in success ?
Lee Clark has made a big deal of huddersfield's run, but many Town fans simply point out the one 'big' game, the Play-off final, we lost...so it means very little to most Town fans...although with Arsenals record of 49 many fans are getting interested.
It is an amazing run, as was yours, but unfortunately spread over 2 seasons (in our case) doesn't actually achieve anything does it ?
42 games unbeaten

You might be wanting them to do you a favour and beat us, so we at least share the record...or maybe not..what a quandry..!

One thing I think we can all agree on is how nice it was earlier to see that leeds got stuffed at home by Blackpool 5-0 and for us the sheep lost as well. It's a good week to be a Red

Great league one achievement but it's league one! It's like comparing the Anglo Italian cup to the champions league. It's a great achievement don't get me wrong (far better than we achieved in the same league) but it's just a league one record. Forest's was 42 top flight games unbeaten. Good luck though and I hope you get promotion

Indeed. But the flaw in your arguement is that we are League 1 with league 1 players, so it's all relative isn't it .
I understand AFC Wimbledon went 72 games, in the lower (non) leagues but somehow that doesn't count ?
Anyway, you're all very gracious in your best wishes, but promotion is the ONLY thing that matters for us this season..
Purring after Blackpools result last night...5-0 ..what a thrashing !!

We will equal the Football League Record on Saturday IF we aviod defaet against Walsall!

It doesn't matter whether you have league one players or not, you are playing leagues one teams. Therefore it is less of an achievement than beating top flight teams. By your arguement my school team who was unbeaten for about four years is the greatest team of all time!
But it's still a fantastic achievement and hopefully should put you there or thereabouts.

Wethers...as the article says..".we are on course to match Forests record...", but we know Town, anything can happen, at any time..and we could get thumped by Walsall...so might as well blow our trumpet will we can...
What strikes me tho', is like we are all thinking evrybody else knows about this, from TV/Press/radio etc...but a lot of the Forest lads didn't know...maybe we are overinflating ourselves ? (whatever that means...)
Anyway..roll on Saturday..

Leicester have appointed Lee Clark as manager. Surprised he didn't want to finish off the job at Huddersfield, but ££££ talks.

Records are there to be broken.
