Park

I think were being a bit critical after his performance, after all its only his third game for us, I feel he has a lot to offer as well as he is reasonably clever, is quite committed in pressurising the defence and has a decent finish on him.

HOWEVER I dont feel he will ever be able to be the front man in a 4-3-3, at least from what I saw of him yesterday, obviously he may grow into the role but from what Ive seen from him he would be much more suited to a 4-4-2....

Something which I felt though was he was almost scared to run into space, or he naturally doesnt find it, there were times where Gervinho was coming in from the left and there was some space just between the CBs and no one was there, most strikers revel to be in that kind of a position and if RVP started we would have almost scored. Instead, Park was running between the LB and the CB which again isnt the worst position to be in as he did have space ahead of him but only a play like Fabregas would have been able to pick him out. We didnt really get to see him shoot as his movement didnt allow him to get into such a position BUT I feel that is because he is new to the 4-3-3.

God forbid RVP does get injured, I wouldnt mind us playing this sort of a formation

-----------------Sczecney-----------------
Jenkinson--Mert--Kosc--Vermaelen
------------------Song------------------------
Arteta--------------------------Santos
---------------Ramesy--------------------
----------Park-------Gervinho/Chamakh

I am not sure who would I would play out of Chamakh and Gervinho as Chamakh has the strength and we could see a big man/little man partnership, but Gervinho has the pace to get in behind and has the strength and dribbling ability to help out, Park, if as his goal scoring record and goal against Bolton shows, does have that finesse about his shot then he will almost certainly capitalise playing next to Gervinho. Also if either Park or Chamakh get injured we will be left with 1 striker Santos cant be trusted at LB until he does sort himself out but tbh hed be an INSANE winger

I know Wenger would never do that, but what are your opinions on Park?

I'd like to see him partnered with Chamakh in a 4-4-2 the next time Wenger decides to give RVP a rest. If he thinks either of them are just going to slot into our 4-3-3 and score for fun like RVP does then he is deluded.

What formation do korea play in? does he play as a lone striker or next to another?

He can play as a lone striker. He is good in the air, can make runs off the shoulder and is intelligent. Wenger is not going to change the formation either.

The worrying thing about Park was that he looked slow. Now RVP is also slow but he has a bit of acceleration when needed.

Now in the premiership you have to be strong or fast. This is because of the physical nature of football in England. The reason why Park didn't look very good against Marseille was that they had all physical speedy defenders. Marseille reminded of a typical English team rather than a French one.

To be honest I would prefer it if Afobe was getting a chance rather than Park to see if he can be a solution. It seems obvious that Chamakh will be leaving.
