rubbish

Back to moaning............hate to say it after a great performance Saturday, but tonight we never got started and faded away from there. Need some players in if we are not going to see a repeat of last season! Or am I just feeling sorry for myself?

Good old Wurzel, bringing love to the City Ground dressing-room.

I bet Wes & Chambo & Andy Reid are all holding hands together, singing the Beatles 'All You Need Is Love' before Reading

Great inspired bit of management there, Mr Cotterill.

I thought Jamie Ward and Jason Shackell came out of the game with a lot of credit. Shackell hardly loses anything in the air and he is composed. Ward never stops running and never gives up. Some of his defensive play was excellent. Hendrick also did well and looks totally competant in his role.
I thought Maguire was very poor. He continually gave the ball away and he looked out of his depth. Roberts was poor and in my opinion has always been out defensive weakness.
Kilbaine was nervous and negative.
At half time, I was in the concourses of the East stand and I heard a lot of negative comments about Frank Fielding, which surprised me a little. He was at fault for at least one of Cardiff's goals however.
No-one has mentioned the referee or the linesmen. They were completely hopeless. I was in line with our back four for their third goal and from where I was Etherington looked 3-4 yards offside. It wasn't even close and as a result, the game was over.
What about the way Bennett was being pushed, shoved and pulled in the box for every single one of our corners.?
Cardiff did look a decent side, but we made it easy for them and so did the officials.

If you look at a poosible team that could have played last but didnt because of injuries its arguably better than the one that played last night
* Legzdins
* Braford
* Barker
* O'brien
* Riggot
* Green
* Bailey
* Tyson
* Cywka
* Davies
* Robinson

As said above we are going in the right direction but a couple of tweeks here and there from the loan market would make a big difference.
Thing is we cant/wont pay the wages of anybody worth having and anything Clough achieves at Derby will be despite GSE and because of them!

Agree with you, Bushwacker, esp your final comment (Clough & GSE). It's all about timing, we shouldn't get loans in just for the sake of them (Javan Vidal from Man City who barely featured), but a decent signing or two to help us through to January.

Though critical of GSE, the failure to shift Leacock, Pearson & Bywater is hurting us.

Thought Jorvik made a good point about November being a decisive month.

Just accessed News Now & Pearson appears to be on his way to Bristol City for two months, which could turn into a longer deal. This might finally lead to a loan happening on our front.

Let's hope so! Think they still need leacocks wages off the books though!
