With all the speculation about the future of Lee Clark this week, I hope fans have not forgotten about this weekend's HUGE match up with our friends from in the Midlands.
Town go into this game with some rather patchy form since December of last year and have not lost since Saints turned us over on the 28th of that month, but some fans don't like to see Town go unbeaten for so long without picking faults. Back to the game and Walsall will not be looking at getting much from this game at The Home of Football, so can see a Large Bus being parked in front of any goal Town attack from 3pm onwards.
Team news
Lee Clark has at least one change to make, Alan, Alan Lee is suspended, but who will partner Peter (the rock) Clarke in centre of defence. I for one would love to see Boom Boom back, but Cooper has the shirt for now me thinks.
Walsall have their Keeper suspended too after a stupid red card last weekend.

Where to catch the action.
It seems some on here do listen to oggy rather than part with their cash, so Radio Leeds is the place for you. Our Foreign Friends can catch the action on Town Player, I think, but as I cant attend this weekend a bar in Spain showing Sky Sports will be where I catch it.
Where to drink.
Plenty of established pubs in Town Centre, but the little bar that Tez4life introduced me to last time (it's behind wetherspoons) was a delightful little, but expensive, bar.

We beat owls home 'n away last year didn't we....
In fact they were team No.2 in our 42 game unbeaten run....
I'm begining to think that with the way that fate works they might just be the team that ends it too.....
Never eed, we'll be 5 points clear at the top by Xmas...While I'm on my beach in the Canaries again, where I was last year when we lost our last league game to Soton 28th Dec 2010...

Make sure you dont book any holidays when the play offs are on Myth, Just in case ? Infact you really need to put your foot down and pick your jollies around the fixture list.

looking at the match 60% possession, 12 shots on target 10 corners (or whatever), we did really well. Sometimes you just have to say well done to the opposition, walsall were gutsy and earned a bit of luck..
My only point would be that the 'one time' we played the ball along the floor into the box, instead of onto their centre backs heads, we scored..Butler must have a headache tonight after winning 478 headers as we lobbed too many balls to him..
whats wrong with getting to the by-line and hitting it hard and low...then they can't head it ?
We missed Alan lee, and that is a worry for me...

To be fair jacko, in all the crosses that were put into the box today only a couple looked dangerous...
Our goal came from a corner, but not a cross, it was a short corner from Roberts to Arfield who played it back to him perfectly on the edge of the six yard/ bi line, and then a perfect low powerfull cross to put it on a plate for Super Novak....UTT..

exactly Myth...a bit of composure...

Once again our inability to beat the lesser teams in this league is costing us. Charlton have lost a game yet are sitting pretty at the top of the league...
We played well enough to win the match, but we always looked like we would concede a goal, Cooper just looks shaky and Clarke just gave the ball away every time he got it, his distribution was woeful...
No point continually saying we played well against a rubbish team but were unlucky, after a bit questions need to be asked because it cost us last year and could well cost us again this year...
Oh, and we 100% massively missed Alan Lee.
On a side note, Pilks scored another cracker, Norwich's top scorer and tearing the Premier League apart... again. Too soon to say he'll be in the Ireland squad for Euro 2012? I hope so because he's my favourite Town player since Stewart, well done lad!

38 - you may say the same thing was said the last season and the season before, however we have shown clear improvements each season including this one. Automatic this season I promise. You can mark my words on this. As I said go on the sadford boards if u feel the need to moan.

38,
Just so you don't die prematurely from chronic terrier depression, I would remind you that we have now picked up 90 points from the last 42 games, and if we carry on with this rate of return, we will end up with 95 points and guaranteed auto promotion.
So 38, always look on the bright side of life -

andy...
reading lee clarks comments after the game i see further evidence of where it goes wrong..
"one of those days", "we played very well", nothing to say to the lads" etc etc..
it wasnt one of those days, we bloody scored..they produced nothing but it was enough to get a draw..
we had the luck last week, we produced little and won..
we didnt get the luck this week..
how much exactly do you or others think lee clark has to spend before "luck" isnt a large factor in quite a few of towns results???
