I was listening to Talk Sport in the car, and they did an interview with a bloke who reports on South American Football, and he reckons that Leandro will be at Spurs this Summer. He had no inside info, so it's only his opinion, but he has followed South American clubs and footballers for years, so his opinion is going to be a lot more valuable that any other ITK.
The more I hear about Leandro the more I like him, so I really hope we do get him. It is rumoured that we've offered £12 million for him.
Some news on Leandro!

When the Spurs faithful sing "it's just like watching Brazil!" they'll be bloody well right!

I predicted that we'd sign Gary Doherty back in the late 90's. Oh yes I am great.

Imagine a strike force of Leandro and Drogba, with VDV playing ust behind them, and all being fed by Moddy!
We'll all be in Wonderland!

I saw
Leandro play in November. He's an outstanding player and WHL is going to like him. Much better buy I think than someone established in the Prem like say ..... Torres.

No No to Drogba.
Let Chelsea pay his pension

I've always rated Drogba, and I think he still has a lot to offer. He has a determination to win that, as with Gallas' attitude, is something that we still seem to lack, on occasion. If we could pick him up for around £5 million, I think he'd do a good job for us. Plus, he has the ability to play the lone-striker role, if we need to keep possession with a 5-man midfield.

STATFACT - Did you know Leandro's name is Dos Santos? Lets not build our hopes too high even if he joins us, hey?

I will believe the Leandro deal when I see him parading a Spurs shirt.
As for Drogba, he will stay at Chelsea and I wouldnt really want to break the bank for a 33 year old that is past his best anyway. The sort of money we would have to pay out for any deal for Drogba would not be worth it imo.

Drogba would be a fantastic player for Leandro to learn off....... both would be fantastic signings. a past his best drogba is twice as effective as crouch.

Well said, Tottenham Boy!
I can't believe that there is any Spurs fan who would not welcome Drogba (at the right price, of course). He's in great shape, has won things that our players can only dream of, has a "winning" attitude, and is far better than any of our current strikers.
When he moved to Chelsea for £18 million, all those seasons ago, most Chelsea fans slated him, and I could never understand why, because although it took him time to settle in, you could see that the man was sheer class. You never lose that.
