It will be a big game on Sunday for both clubs. Motherwell approach the game with high levels of confidence as the Steelmen sit above their opponents in the league, Celtic have been dreadful in the SPL this year but will be hoping to build on a convincing 3-1 home win again Ligue 1 side, Rennes.
Stuart McCall recently won manager of the month; Motherwell were unbeaten throughout the whole of October. Which included three wins out of three away from home. The forward pairing of Higdon and Murphy have scored eight goals in the league between them, but the defence have been reasonably solid as well keeping six clean sheets already this season. An interesting statistic is that the Steelmen have scored six times late on in a game (76'-90' minute).
Celtic approach this week's league game on the back of last week's stalemate with Hibernian at Celtic Park. For a club the size of Celtic the away record is appalling: we have only won 50% of our away games and 75% of the goal's we have conceded have been at away fixtures. One plus for Celtic, is that their main goalscorers Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes have scored seven of their combined nine league goals away from home.

I must admit to thinking Celtic were about to mess up last night after conceding after 2 mins, but fair play for coming back, even though the French played well at times.
The old firm arguing about Euro football is futile as we are both poor. However,Celtic are having a go and I wish the current Rangers, with Naisy, were available in July.We were makeshift and not match fit,but deserved what we got.
Tough games for us both this weekend and a long way to go.

Fair play to ye Bluebells, one of the punishments we get for not having a decent co-efficient is that our most important games are in July or early August.
When both our clubs fans bicker over Europe it makes me think of two baldy men fighting over a comb.

100% agree about X Factor, it's nothing to do with talent and all about ratings. Wish delusional kids could see through it. I'm sure they use auto-tune as well.

I have watched some of X Factor, often for a laugh, but saw it last week with my wife and her mate and it was dire.
You would see better in the Toby Jug mate.
I despair so many folk watch it and like it,but there are so many daft people about, nothing surprises me about modern society.
I am now officially a grumpy old man.

They are no better than karaoke turns in any pub in town, but it is the sense of desperation that saddens me the most. It is tangible and really sad to watch kids tell eejits like Barlow and Walsh that this is their dream.
I too am a grumpy old man Bluebells

Jonathan Ross got arrested for stealing Chinese kitchen utensils. He told police....."it was a wisk worth taking".

The only thing Ross has got going for him is his love for the music of David Bowie. Oh, and his rather pneumatic little wife.

Ross used to play some good stuff on his Saturday radio show. Not many places you can hear the like of Hendrix on the radio these days.Pity they replaced him on radio.
