I'm getting bored of all this now, nobody really knows who the actual candidates are an the rumours are purely that.
Things seem to be dragging out a bit now and while I'm sure the owners know what they're doing I just wish they'd give us even a slight clue.
Can't say I'll get excited even when they announce who the new boss will be unless it's MON or Pearson!

Out of all the candidates mentioned this is my preference:
1. Martin O'Neill until thernd of the season
2. Nigel Pearson for 4 years
3. Mike Stowell until the end of the season
I have no 4th choice. I'd rather we took our time with Stowell and get the right man in. I honestly feel Stowell would be a steady choice for the rest of the season.

Couldn't agree more Merseyside, except I'd take 4 years of Pearson before any short term appointment.
The club may have moved on, and let's be thankful for that, but don't lets over complicate things. This is still a game with 22 players and 2 sets of goalposts and the object of the game still remains the same, as far as I know
