FIFA do it again.

I'm sure I won't be the first, or the last, to write an article about this, but I have to say I'm absolutely furious with what I've just heard. FIFA have banned England players from wearing poppies on their shirts during the international with Spain next week.

In short, they claim that wearing a poppy emblem contravenes FIFA rules on uniform which say that they cannot display any political or religious meaning. If FIFA don't realise that the poppy and all it stands for transcends political and religious boundaries, then they're even stupider than I previously thought. Of course, if the FIFA bank balance were to benefit, I'm sure they'd change their minds.

Stelling's already starting a campaign against this ridiculous rule on SSN, and I'm right behind him!

Why is it ridiculous? So if another team puts on the English rose claiming the same logic, is it ok then? You either ban all doubtful symbols or you don't. You can't do it halfway.

They're part of the illuminati, what do you expect? This world is really messed up. In every aspect politically.

What does the English rose represent?

Is it a show of respect and gratitude to men and women of all races and religion that lost their lives fighting for their countries?

I don't think it's the disgrace that people are making it out to be.
