houstans post match comments

what does fellow arabs think of the comment after yesterdays match " i wont be judged on the results against the old firm?

i beg to differ, i think he should be judged on the results and he is making it sound acceptable if we get beat, which is the wrong attitude as it sets a negative frame of mind to the players when they play against the uglys.

We have had very poor performances and results using 451 this season, when we change to 442 we have our best result, so why change it back!

In sports psychology it has been proven that teams who go out just to avoid losing have less success than teams who go out to win.

So stop the negativity Mr H

Yeah, very much agree. He comes across as very negative at times and this does not instill confidence. Making the players beleive they could beat anyone is something CL was very good at and Houston must be aware of the success that this had.

Houston will be judged on the OF games whether he likes it or not. With Dunfermline and ICT both winning at the weekend we are now in a serious battle at the wrong end of the table. The next 3 games are very difficult and unless we adress the mistakes we are making time and again, we will be bottom by the time those games are over.

AK, it does seem like a strange thing to say, and he's not the 1st manager i've heard say that, theres 21-24 points to be won or lost in games against the weegies thats a whole lot of points!!!! Next 3 games will be tough but i cant really see hearts beating us, im optimistic we can win that one, we've played pretty well last couple of games, i really do think we might turn into a pretty decent side if kenneth and gunning could just bond a bit better.
