I agree. Torres probably won't magically resume his best form next season, he certainly hasn't shown enough evidence he will. He's going to need time. Drogba would provide him that, ease the pressure off him

I have faith in Torres. But disappointed with manager being 'safe' Gus. I think we need a bright new manager with fresh ideas about a re-invigorated forward line. So in my thinking I would say thanks very much Drogs but now we're moving on. If Torres doesn't work we can, with a bit of imagination and courage dare to think about other options.

I fear Gus will continue to try getting more out of the same old stagers - unless we have a courageous assistant manager to push him. There are several candidates - Gullitt is now free, there's Zola, Di Matteo, Guardiola, VBoas, and I was a great fan of Vialli.

And on Kalou - great if he still wants to be valued as supersub, but definitely not ahead of Sturridge now. Sturridge has proved he is now the man.

well, imo if Torres doesn't perform then we should sell him about the same time we bought him, probably back to his old club, depends on how bad he is we could get as much as 10m fot him plus we'll save reduced wages

I seriously doubt whether Torres will justify the huge financial gamble Roman took on him
