As a fan of football, I just wanted to send my condolences to Billy and his family. This player played a few days after the death of his newborn son Luey. He wanted to play for his son and score a goal, which he did (a cracker) with a tribute to his son under his shirt. I just cannot imagine what he was going through and it bought a tear to my eye. This man puts some premiership players to shame who refuse to play for silly reasons. God bless Luey

He also scored at Ipswich on the weekend and got a standing ovation from the Ipswich fans, was pretty special

It puts things into perspective.
Remember Tevez in Munich. Refused to warm up/play because he felt he wasn't in the right frame of mind!!
It's enough to make you sick
It's a credit to the player that after all that went on, he didn't want to let his team mates or the club down and he felt he could get some relief by doing what he enjoys best, playing football.

Great character
Credit has to go to the ref that also didn't book him in the Boro game for his celebration.
Ipswich fans have definitely gone up in my estimation after Saturday I'd so the same if he scored against us
