I really wanted to spend 5 mins going through our two strikers and what makes them tick! I will start with our loan striker Adebayor.
Adebayor - Strong experienced striker, has played for alot of top clubs in europe and has international experience with Togo!, has scored goals everywhere he has been, his ability to hold the ball up, bring others into the play make him a real threat and a dangerous asset on his day, he is able to drop deep, and play off the last man. Has an excellent 1st touch and also is calm on the ball.
Pav - Sheyt and lazy!

Adebayor vs Pav

Pav is only good for association threads that G&S usually does.

To put it simply Pav does not engage his brain when playing...having said that Ade gave the ball away a couple of times yesterday, which annoyed me....given the choice Ade wins hands down every day of the week...

defoe is really pushing for a starting place at the moment. the trouble is how to accomodate him.

"defoe is really pushing for a starting place at the moment"
Don't think so.
He does deserve at least a 2nd half run out (and not a paltry 10 mins etc) .

S.Mouse!
He sprays passes out wide, got Walker motoring for the first goal

That pass was as good as you'll see. Who would have thought a "target man" could make that kind of ball?

Adey is our best striker

Ade has been far from his best form but has 3 goals and 5 assists in 8 games.

Adebayor's work rate yesterday was tremendous, three times I saw him run past VDV to close down the man VDV should of being closing. In addition, he has been involved in about 80% of our goals since he's been here. What a player but I still feel Crouch is miles better.
