That is the big step towards the appointment that we needed. It seems he is keen to return and we are obviously keen to have him. Surely Hull can't deny him now.

Does anyone not feel that comfortable about this and how many goals has Waggy scored this season?

I'm genuinely shocked by this but it seems like it will happen now and I for one am ecstatic about that.
I'll say this one more time an then leave it. How stupid were we for letting Pearson go 2 years ago. If he was given investment and time to continue to develop "his" team I think we would have been up already.
I agree with Dungeon though - we MUST give Pearson this season and next to have a real go at the job. If we're managerless saint before the end of next season or god forbid this one, I'll be asking serious questions of our owners ability to run the footballing side if the club.
Great new though. Johngee must be setting Jorge dartboard with Pearson's face on it as we speak...

Apologies if my posts are ever difficult to read. It's my stupid iPhone!
Hopefully people have become accustomed to translating the oddities and generally get the gist of what I'm saying!

mersey.... im just getting directions for johngee's two lads so they can watch pretty football at Barcelona rather than nige's boring football that has only given us two of the best years since MON's era!

Nev, how to put it...
It's like mum's persuading dad back into the house one and a half years after the dippy housekeeper kicked him out behind her back...

Jimi - I doubt it because Nigel will probably bring back the likes of Shakespeare and Walsh back with him. That said, there is a vacancy to be filled in what was the Chris Powell role when Nigel was last here but I wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Bruno Berner given that role as Nigel likes to promote someone within the playing staff who knows the squad into that role. i.e. Powell here, Barmby at Hull etc.
