Holland announce Stoke friendly

The Dutch FA have announced that their national football team will be participating in a friendly against Premiership team Stoke this week, in preparation for the euros. The match will be held at the Brittania and the Dutch coach has defending this surprise friendly, saying 'it will be a crucial and fierce match, something that the public will appreciate.

Robin van persie is set to start for the Dutch, bidding to continue his terrific form from club and country during this calendar year.

When asked about how Stoke will stop him, Tony pullis said:
'Oh he's a great player, but can he do it on a cold wet night in stoke? Let's see. We'll have shawcross man mark him, and I hope the young lad lets him know he's there. He'll be committed and as passionate as usual.'
