Bad enough that Doncaster and Topping allowed the weekend's SPL games to go ahead without a minutes silence, now we have Regan and Lawwell meekly accepting the FIFA nonsense about banning poppies from national team shirts.
At least the FA and Welsh FA have demonstrated a sense of decency and are challenging FIFA in the strongest possible terms to have this disgraceful decision overturned. Meanwhile over at Hampden there is a meek, possibly grateful acceptance of another reprehensible diktat from the corrupt degenerates running the game from their Swiss mansions.
There's still time for the SFA to stand shoulder to shoulder with the FA and FAW . Time to show that they have a sense of morality and that they understand the meaning of the word respect. Sadly, I won't be holding my breath in anticipation.
The SFA. An Immoral Embarrassment.

Can you not realise that everyone is entitled to an opinion on this. I have no issue with the poppy and have lots of friends who wear it and I'll defend their right to do so. However, this must be a personal choice - I chose not to, so why should I or anyone else at their place of work be made to. I think its time you checked a map of the world - the big red bit has gone. There are hundreds of nations out there with their own culture and traditions, whether you like it or not. I believe in respecting the dead but no one should be forced to wear any symbol.

Decisions of the International F.A. Board
Decision 1
Players must not reveal undergarments showing slogans or advertising. The basic compulsory equipment must not have any political, religious or personal statements. A player removing his jersey or shirt to reveal slogans or advertising will be
sanctioned by the competition organiser. The team of a player whose basic compulsory equipment has political, religious or personal slogans or statements will be sanctioned by the competition organiser or by FIFA.
