Hi fellow 606'ers. After taking a look at previous articles and the amount of comments posted per article, I can only say that our board is fast becoming the vacated lot usually associated with the blunts. The great articles that used to be posted on the original 606 have given way for tripe about Lady Gaga, pies and whatever would be better posted on twitter or facebook!
Even the dingle, blunt, weed and trotter wummers have disappeared. Doesn't anybody talk about football or the massive Wednesday anymore? The few decent articles posted always seem to end up in the bin thanks to the numpties who obviously have too much time on their hands and have nothing worth saying as regards Sheffield Wednesday. I used to be a regular on here, but only because there were decent posters around i.e. Owlstom, Megga etc. who were posting decent articles relevant to the team we support.
Even the last matchday thread only attracted a mere 81 comments, which shows how much this board has deteriorated since the start of the season. Being in third place shows that the team is doing its bit in giving us things to talk about. Why is it that now we're doing okay, all we can come up with is a load of old tripe which has nothing to do with the game itself? When we were at the bottom of the barrel everyone had something to say.......especially the boo boys and moaning minnies! Now there's nothing really bad to say, football articles have gone out the window!
Most of us know who the regular posters were, but maybe its time to see how many have disappeared.......and the reason why! Get back to football and true, interesting, Wednesday related articles, and maybe we can save JA606 before it's too late! UTO!!

The Admins on here are not unreasonable to the extreme. Anyone who has banned can asked to be reinstated if they send an email to Admin1 or Admin2. Depends what they have been banned for.

I agree about the admin on here, they are reasonable and as per all the sites they have limits. Most of the mods are better than the beeb ones were!!

I wouldn't want someone back if they had been banned for heinous reasons!! Constant wummery can be a bit wearing as well though - you only have to remember what it was like with the Trotters fans - .
I think the young age of a lot of posters has a lot to do with it - tbh I don't fall into that category and I also find the surreal humour very much to my taste.

Trueblue, you hit the nail on the head when you said we're doing well so the moaners don't bother to post. Some of us do like to post slightly off-kilter articles but that can't be blamed for the general deterioration, it's only done for a bit of fun. But I take your point, therefore I will post a totally Wednesday related thread.
