A lot of the credit for the clean sheets recently has rightly been attributed to Wes Foderingham.
Justified no doubt but shouldn't the back four and the central midfield pairing of Ferry and Smith also be given a lot of the credit.

Totally agree with that. We now have a defensive unit who are playing together with mutual confidence. On top of that Ferry and Smith are working their socks off closing down the opposition in front of them. This was very apparent at Vale and was the key to our success there in my view.

You could say last nights win was a slight gamble that paid off. We still looked pretty solid with the spine of the team missing. It's important that the fringe players get competitive games and I'm sure as we get near to the midway season mark we will need more of the squad to be up to scratch and ready to play their part. Quality penalties from our three guys last night and Smiths saves made the effort to go and watch well worth it. I think Saturday could be really open with a few goals, hopefully we get one or two more than them.

I suppose that we all have accept that an " rear end" sort of pond life could enter our board. Though, the frogs in my pond would have made more constructive statements.
IMO, the goalie has to be competent, but it's his co defenders who create the situations of danger.
Get them right, & I could go in goal & make a fist of it!
Penalty saving excepted!
