A Parting Glass to Joe Frazier!

One of the best Heavyweight champs of all time! He had perhaps the best left hook ever seen in the division! An essentially humble and direct person who was also a proud individual with a dogged determination.

I always felt that he was right to be annoyed by some of Ali's comments. Ali and others maintained that it was all just to sell tickets, but come on, nobody calls a man like Joe Frazier an "Uncle Tom", not in the America of the 1960-70s. In my book, Ali was way over the line with some of those comments and Joe was right to react. Anyway, Joe had the satisfaction of being the first professional to beat Ali.
