It depends where you are fishing. Personally I would go for shrimp as a bait before prawn as we dont get any prawns naturally that I know neart where I live.

I vaguely remember a joke froma book I read years ago. It went something like....

I went to Grannys for dinner and she said we were having prawn again. I asked for something else but she pulled down her knickers and said "shut up and keep sucking"
