The press at there worst Im affraid.

I felt this was more a slur on Rangers than Celtic and why we didnt complain Im not sure.
Celtic were correct to complain about it stirring hatred but Rangers should also have done so

thought they presented is the old firm with an oppertunity to show unity, and point the finger at the media in this country.

Albeit some words may be twisted, but they can't if you avoid hinting at them. Always had a bit of pride ib our players press statements. Very few samaras or commons lines. Would much rather it remained that way. However, he's right, it would be seen as a failure if we did not go on to win the league from this position.

Ok the lead is 12pts. If we win our game in hand its 9. With around 20 games to play, including 3 of games, its still possible. However we do look more likely to drop points than rangers at the moment. Hopefully over next month we can get players back and have a more settled first team, and get a centre half in during January!

Maybe he shouldn't have said it, but i find it a little hard to disagree with him!! Something has got to dramatically change for Celtic to achieve anything in the league this year!!

Hate when our players say things like this to the press, but atleast jelavic waits until you have a pretty large lead before he opens his mouth.

The quote I saw was the STV sport one.

Its has the headline 'Rangers striker Jelavic: we won’t be caught in the SPL' Nikica Jelavic says Rangers won’t be caught in the title race.

Yet when it goes on to quote Jelavic he actually says Rangers SHOULDNT be caught.

That is a subtle but critical difference between the headline and the actual quote in the article. They mean two completely different things.

This season has been a cake walk.
