It does appear that you will be announcing McLeish as your manager today.

He may suprise us all and allow you to play free flowing attacking football, assuming the lobotomy trip to Corsica has actually worked. If not, it will be the 9-1 formation with Heskey or Bent (if he stays) fighting for the lone striker role. Or 8-1-1 with Aggy allowed to cross the half way line occasionally.

The only thing I thank AM for is the Carling Cup... and even when I think back to the earlier rounds, he didn't put out the teams to win. We were lucky against Brentford, who should have beaten us but for a last gasp Philips equaliser.

The football has been dire. Our goals, shots on target, corners - in fact anything resembling offensive play has been the poorest when in the PL.

I don't hate Villa, or any midland club. I love football, entertaining football. McLeish has failed to provide that to Blues in over 3 seasons.

On another note, how do you feel about Gardner returning to the fold? Also Foster and Johnson could be joining McLeish on his trip across the city.
