What's the latest on your (new?) stadium?

Having lived for most of the last decade just along the M27, in a city begining with 'S', I worked at a few places in Pompey so have always kept an eye on the goings on at Fratton Park.

I know a few years back there was great debate about whether to go for a new stadium, or rebuild your ground, possible re-orientating the pitch 90° at the same time and building one new stand at a time.

So, what's the latest news?

Also, looking East, what do you think of Brightons shiny new place, after they were homeless for years?
