More and more will be revealed about Ecks resignation over the coming days and as angry as many Blues and Villa fans are about the whole fiasco it will all pale into insignificance once the fixtures are revealed and the season is underway. So what terms of agreement do you think our next manager will insist on if the level of interference from Mr Pannu is believed? Will in fact, any manager want to come to Blues?
How many times have managers resigned due to the interference from members of a clubs board?
There can only be one manager and the board must show faith and respect in their manager of choice and in the decisions he makes, otherwise why appoint him.

Eck is short for Alex. I think
I prefer to call him Flamin Eck from now on though.
And Chris Hughton please

Already said I would like Hughton or Di Matteo, but having thought about it I think Curbishley may be a better choice. He would be less likely to take any interference from the board, also he does have experience at both championship and premier league. He also stated on sky this week he would be prepared to take on a championship club if it was the right job.At the moment that could mean us or Cardiff.

As I have said, my choice would be Hughton. He was doing a good job at Newcastle before, for some reason, he was sacked.

Again though how do we know 100% that Panu was in the way of targets.....
Eck is the past we have to move on, if some really like him that much they can go support Villa
McLeish wanted Michel under Sully and Gold and they would not pay what Gijon wanted we lost out because S&G wanted to pay 4X £750K Gijon even came down to wanted 2X £1.5M but S&G would not.
Yeung comes in and pays £3M cash, yet like so many targets McLeish signed (even prior to Yeung) he just gets wasted and not used. Is Michel worse than Fahey?
So is it now only the players who never did well with us are Panu ones and the good ones like Foster, Dann, Johnson, Ferguson, Carr, Gardner etc was all McLeish ones.
Who knows, maybe what if Bentley, Hleb, Derbyshire and Zigic etc was not McLeish targets, maybe thats why he never played them.
Maybe if thats true McLeish will stick with his signings than play others he may not have wanted, even though his signings etc and his 4,5,1 to accommodate them was not working, we was not creating enough.
Maybe thats why we also never saw changes because we had a bench full of players McLeish never wanted so the Stubborn SOB would rather not make changes than play players who he never wanted.
Well thats why McLeish was a DUD for us as far as when it came to Tactics/Team Selections and Subs for the most part he was SHOCKING!
