I think this is a fantastic draw for us. Blackpool were very unlucky to get relegated from the Prem., so it's a great chance to see how our new team performs in favourable conditions against a decent side (home tie - assuming our home performances with the newly reduced pitch vastly improve). I'd much rather have a game like this, which could attract a decent crowd, than a trip to Hartlepool! Let's be grateful for what we've got!

Agree, with the pre season training and work out over and the season a few weeks old. Think this will be a good test to see what our 9 new boys can do (2 down 7 to go).

Also instead of a team coming to Hillsborough for their "Final”, we get a team who think they should still be playing at Old Trafford etc. So hopefully we can turn them over and be the 'giant killer' (sort of) rather than killed ourselves.

Oh well, there's always the FA Cup!
