Now here is one that I have been pondering about!
If a player is picked as sub for an FA Cup tie, but doesn't actually get onto the pitch, is he cup-tied if the club wants to transfer him or loan him?

No, he has to come onto the pitch.

Think your right Jeezus, a player has to actually play to be classed as cup tied. Do you have anyone in mind Gollum ? Looking forward to tomorrow, we don't really have that much to lose unless we get hammered. Hopefully we get to see a good game with plenty of proper football being played. I'm thinking a few goals either way. Do we know how many tickets Huddersfield have sold ?

Notts,
No-one in mind. Just a thought that if we wanted to unload some excess baggage to someone....
I didn't know, so I asked!

Hello RG, just seen a post of yours speaking to Mondy. Hope you are well, and likewise our mate who I have not been in touch with for a while due to problems here.
I know you have logistical problems but the Town are deffo worth watching this season compared to last, and the result say that as well. This last Sat against Huddersfield was no exception.. Its not always pretty but then again we are in League Two something which many seem to forget. We play better against footballing sides and I think that says a lot about the standard of our players, this team could slot into League One and do quite well with not many changes could be towards the top. We are still searching for the elusive goal machine since BP and CA left. I'll have to search for your e-mail address that Mondy sent yonks ago but tbh I'm usually very busy.. Does our old mate BG come here as well ?

Swindon Fan,
I ain't checked yet whether I got any response from Mondy. TBH, trolling thro' the adver boards is a nightmare!
Apart from the prediction league, I tend to only look at the breaking stories & usually get castigated for any comments I make!
This site has a lot fewer members, but most of us seem to talk sense, if not always agreeing with each other.
I can let you have my email here, but in bits.
