The title fight tonight between Cain and JDS goes out live on network TV for the first time ever in the states.
Massive night for the sport.
I have checked all over sky for where I can see this and as far as I can see its on Setanta here in Ireland but I cant see it on anywhere in the UK?
Is it available over there lads?
How do you see this fight going? I know with the heavies you never do know but I fancy Cain the defend his belt tonight.
Big Big Night for UFC

I cant wait without doubt two best heavyweights at the moment. The longer it goes I think will favour cain but dos santos is the hardest hitter ive seen for a while however very close is cain velasquez! Its gouing to be ace hopefully!

Only thing is it is a bit risky putting this as the first ever fight on network tv. It could be over very quickly being heavyweights. Surely wouldve made more sense for some of the smaller lads to fight?

I've only just seen this article, and the fight was shown live and free on MSK, I can't recall what sky channel it is, I was just having a flick through the planner looking for the boxing, and came across it.
1 minute 4 seconds of it anyway!!!!

it was on 'premier sports' - 433 on sky. Although it's a pay channel, UFC struck a deal for them to air it for free. For various reasons ESPN were not able to broadcast it. (something to deal with the number of events they're contracted to show)
Good fight, suspected JDS would win, but I feel for Cain, he's an incredible fighter and he didn't get to show any of it. Be interested to see who he goes up against next.
The Guida fight was entertaining as always. Shame he's not that great a fighter, as he's so much fun to watch...

Phil Yeah hes up for it anyway Guida isnt he. I met him once and he seemed like a really nice guy.
I dont think this really does much for UFC though. Maybe it will but if they were hoping to attract some new fans that 1 minute fight maybe wouldnt appeal to many.

yeah I agree messiah, if anything the Guida fight would've attracted more viewers. New viewers watching JDS would've probably thought 'what's the point'?
Never was going to be the best fight for the first free to air. Should've gone with a Silva fight or something....
