Anyone else read the 'Secret Footballer' column in The Guardian?? I've spent ages trying to work out who in God's name it is. Originally i thought it was David James, seeing as he already wrote for The Guardian, but he makes several references to being an outfield player, so it isn't him. Now my money's on Danny Murphy.
Any ideas on who this mystery man might be??

I doubt it's the same guy every week. and I'm pretty sure they send in a draft of the article than an actual journo rephrases it entirely to make sure that nothing is given away
