FA cup.

Not sure where todays 4-1 result came from but I was confident we were capable of giving Huddersfield a game. After they went 1-0 up I feared the worst although we were having good spells and some half chances. Two quick goals and as they say the rest is history.
Still think Huddersfield are the best team to come to the County Ground this season and they did look every bit a top Division one side.
Think we deserve a lot of credit for today's win and hopefully we continue to build on our recent good form to get us promotion so we can play teams like the Terriers every week. Looking forward to the draw for the next round as whatever people say the FA cup is special.

Great result! And, it was for me, great to have us playing in our traditional colours. Brings back a lot of memories of past cup ties at the CG.

Yes, great result, beyond all my expectations. I'm happy with the draw too, would have preferred to be at home but better to be away to higher opposition than to a non-league side. Colchester will be favourites and that suits me fine.

Like someone said today, our present team have never been to Colchester so past results are irrelevant.
My in-laws live about half hour away from their new stadium so I will be going again. Would of prefered another home tie but quite like the fact we get another
shot at a first division side rather than a potential
banana skin non league team. Important now to keep
the momentum going regardless of whether it's league or cup games.
