It was a shock to hear that he passed away. I was reading his last article published in SMH, and his last lines were -
"Mind you, a lot can happen in a week. It just did."
What happened was definitely something neither he nor could anyone else have imagined. My condolences to his family and close ones. R.I.P.

He was with the touring OZ team only hours before hand mixing company having a chat..???
He turned over many a stone with his attitude of getting to the bottom of every story. A lot of players (mates of bookies) would of been watching their backs whilst Roebuck was on the job.... Thanks for memories Buk..

It is certainly unfortunate to hear all the happenings from his private life style which is very disturbing....his family must be in shock for more reasons then the obvious...to them I wish well...

Very hard to believe of whats been written about him after his death.Anyways, Brilliant writer much better than the biased Bhogle and Manjrekar on cricinfo who still advocate non-use of UDRS.
