What annoys me about mw3

Great game and will play it for the next 2 years however.

I find a temporary camping spot if im all alone without the team around me.

I ALWAYS GET SHOT FROM BEHIND

When I look right a guy comes and shoots me from my left.

When I look left a guy comes and shoots me from my right.

Its like I alwaaays choose the wrong option. They need to sort out spawn points or something. You can be the most skillful player but you cannot do anything when you kill one guy and another guy comes from the side or behind you to end your streak.

When you say issues, what do you mean ??

Just because someone doesn't have the same likes and dislikes as you, means they have "Issues" ??

To me it means they are different

You do seem a little anti the modern world, but i wouldn't go so far as saying you have issues (other than with gamers).

Getting back to the subject at hand, the lag issues seemed a lot less severe last night, almost as it was on MW2. that's the main thing that bugged me seemingly sorted

Dont be ageist, I have a mobile phone I'll have you know, and an interweb in my house

I have no problem with modern technology fella, I just find it difficult to understand why people would sooner do stuff on their own, than with mates

ageist? i'm 35 myself mate!

I don't have a facebook account, i did in the past but closed it down a while back.

As i tried to explain yesterday, gaming isn't necessarily a solo thing. With online gaming virtually every game gives you the option to play private matches vs friends for example. in this way i get to interact with some old mates that have moved away for work etc in other ways than just talking to them on the phone.

A few days ago I played poker with 9 mates, only 4 of them still live in this country, so without online gaming we would never have had the chance to still play each other as we used to. of course it's not the same as live, but it's better than nothing.

yes, to some people these social networks/online gaming constitutes their entire social life, but they are by far the minority. to most people they are simply an extension of it, as well as a way to organise nights out etc.

depends really on what sort of thing you like. Do you like to watch motor racing on tv? if so, a driving game such as gran turismo or forza could be right up your street. if you like f1 then obviously there are the games for that.

if you like action films then possibly a first or third person shooter (first you just see your hands and gun, third you see from behind and above the player)

do you have kids? if so do they have a console of any sort? pc gaming tends to require quite a powerful machine to play anything new.

a good family enjoyable thing is some of the sports 'sims' on the wii, such as golf or bowling, particularly after a few drinks
