With recent speculation, this is by the best of them all in my opinion, although price may be a problem. according to this website hes worth £1.8m obviously this is because he has 1 year left on his contract. i agree that that is probably what he is worth with the CURRENT state of his contract, if he had 4-5 yeas left, then i would happily agree with the £5m the Bristol fans seem to think he is worth. i just cant see a player with 1 year left worth £5m+ in the Championship and in truth i think that IF he snubs a new contract, they will cash in for around £2m ish.

what are your thoughts?

£5m for a player who has never played in the Premiership, has just spent 6 months out with a serious knee injury and has only 12 months left on his contract. Bristol City fans are living in cloud-cuckoo land.
He's a decent player, but for the reasons stated above they will be lucky to get more than £2m for him

Bristol City management have already said even if he doesn't sign a new contract they will keep him for the season, rather than take money less than they paid for him, even if he goes on a free next year. unless a prem team comes in cant see him forcing a move to you guys. unless you pay him silly wages i guess, he is on 15k week at city atm

olocky - what tranfer fee do you think Bristol City will accept?
I'd probably offer around £3.5 million for him because, despite what you said, a choice between losing your best player for nothing or for 3 and a half million is a no-brainer.
