1. We have a Scottish manager, and we all know the Scots are the best managers.
2. We are full of home grown talent.
3. We are based in a city that sees itself as “separate from the rest of the country". We are not English, we are Scouse.
4. We had two players in the world cup winning Spain team.
5. Our local city rival isn’t anywhere near as good as us.
6. Our biggest rival even had Cristiano Ronaldo playing for them, and we were still able to compete.
7. We’ve won the Champion’s League since the year 2000.
8. We have a Spanish goalkeeper, and we all know about Spanish goalkeeping talents.
9. We have a huge historic stadium in the city centre.
10. Andy Carroll plays for us, and has a ponytail. No good Barcelona player has ever had a ponytail.
11. Our best player is from South America, so clearly better than any of their players.
12. We have a decent working academy that generates proper talent.
13. We have incredible passers in our midfield in the shape of Adam and Henderson. Barcelona have no good passers.
14. Our city is on the coast.
15. The most important reason of the lot; we went to Stoke on a cold wet night AND WON!!!!

15 Reasons Why Liverpool > Barcelona

Liverpool deservedly knocked out Barca last time we played them.
The only English side who's ever beaten the Barca with Messi, xavi and Iniesta deservedly.

The PL is very hard to win.
La Liga is very easy to win.

9. We have a huge historic stadium in the city centre.
-----------------------------------------
45000 seater stadium is NOT huge compared to 98000 seater stadium that is Camp Nou.
For a supposedly big club like Liverpool - surely they shud be playing in NOT a 50-60000 seater but a 91000 seater stadium dont you think?
Is it becos you have not won the PL?
I understand its hard but if you stopped being a 'cup-mentality' team & put all your resources in the league - you might get somewhere.
You could do with a new stadium becos Anfield has somewhat lost its famous atmosphere of the 70's & 80's & you have dropped nearly 20 points at home this season.
Only 3 times i have seen this special atmosphere
2005 - Juventus
2007 - Inter Milan
2009 - Real Madrid
Its a shame it never turned up against, Sunderland, Swansea, Norwich even Southend!

Southend?
The only time we've played Southend in recent times was a Youth Cup game.
That we won 9-0.

Even Oldham fans were singing 'where your famous atmosphere'?
Sure they (Oldham) are not Juventus/Inter Milan/ Real Madrid still the atmosphere at Anfield was quiet.
Ask the Liverpool government to give permission to build a new stadium or increase Anfield to a respectable 85000 at the very least.
You won CL via a Penalty shoot-out
You won Fa Cup via a Penalty shoot-out
You won Carling Cup via a Penalty shoot-out
Can you win the PL via a Penalty shoot-out?
