I grew up in Chipp. Played many a long hour in John Cole's park. No posts, just a couple of jumpers down. Anybody welcome to join in, maybe 20 a side at the best times. No kit, but everyone knew who's side they were on.
I went back there this year & the council have banned ball games from that area. So, good luck to the lad.

I'm one of them who is angry with his father's comment, basically there going to use the Swindon Youth Academy because it's close to where he lives and he just going to join a big club when hes 16? and because of the new stupid rule meaning we will get no money. Brilliant.
