I'm not ageist. I'm old enough not to be in a position to be!!! Why is it important to anyone (in the sense that we hear and read about how old (or young) people are all the time?

In all honesty, quite hard to explain really. I'm being genuine in saying that.

I think it's genuine curiosity, i'm not sure why I do it but especially with footballers I listen out for their ages in a news report. Maybe because in that case it's relevant to their careers. In the case of a football forum it's relevant to the games, players, competitions etc. you will remember.

I like talking to the older fans on here, especially the Spurs fans as they lend some perspective on current events.
