Womblingdon away

Back to the bread and butter! We need to be taking something from every league game and keep focused on the real prize. I hope that Smith comes back in for Risser. His ball winning and partnership with Ferry is very important to our defensive improvement. Up front I'd like to see Kerrouche, if fit, with Connell, Jervis with Connell otherwise. Kennedy had a good game against Huddersfield...should he keep his place?

Thoughts?

Don,
I was going to post about the same, but laziness got the better of me!
This is a "bread & butter" game, no cake to ice!
IMO, go back to the last league side, it wasn't broke then, so why mend it?
I will say though, that AFC Wimbledon supporters have my appreciation for getting their club to where it is.

That said, I hope that we stuff them!

Totally agree with that.

I also respect Wimbledon supporters, true fans of their club come what may and they deserve to be back in the League. But having said that we need a result tomorrow, don't really mind how, ugly would be fine.

Watched the cup game against AFC and thought they were a fairly decent side who played football without hoofing everything forward. They didn't look overly dangerous up front but that may be because they had a few players missing. I'm not going tomorrow but won't be to far away from the radio. Think we will get at least a point from the game but more than capable of getting all three. Not sure if I would start with Kennedy although he did well against Huddersfield. Look forward to any feed back if any of you are going up ?

Well, an away point from a fairly difficult game. Sounds like we were below par first half but better in the second. The main thing for me is that we didn't lose and we continue our run. It's a point gained for me. I know other results have gone against us but that's going to happen some weeks.

Well, they got basically a 1-1 draw in the paint pot at our place. That wasn't long ago, so nothing much can have changed since then. So a draw there has to be seen as a good result. One of those games where it could have gone either way.
The side looks reasonably settled now. The fact that we have to look at other results is because it wasn't as settled at the season start.
Points lost then could cost us. That's my only criticism of DiC - he was appointed before the season started & did have time to sort it, but failed to do so. Now we are doing OK, but are ever playing catch-up!
That isn't a moan about him, 'cos he has to learn his trade as a manager, but just my view.
