Deciphering Bob's Blog

Some of you may have seen the various media reports/internet chatter circulating regarding an alleged email leak of private correspondence.

Not for the first time in the recent past, certain individuals claiming to be Evertonians ( LIFELONG EVERTONIANS )have made attempts to undermine (LIKE WHEN THEY TAPED BILLY GOING INTO MELTDOWN )the people of Everton Football Club ( THE SPURS FANS,ROCKY,A RED TURNED BLUE AND PHILIP GREEN IAN ROSS AND ROBERT ELSTONE )by actions almost every one of us would find wholly unacceptable. ( IF THEY WERE NOT SO DAMNING)

Our experienced senior executive team is dealing with the matter assisted by the Club's legal representatives and we will update accordingly and take appropriate action. (GO ON THEN)

It is disappointing to read what has been written on certain internet forums ( THE TRUTH )but I remained buoyed by the fact that this Club has the best supporters in football; ( WHO I'M GOING TO ATTEMPT TO BS AGAIN ) supporters who I know recognise what's right and what's wrong. ( AND GET ALL HOT UNDER THE COLLAR OVER TAPES AND LEAKS DESPITE US GOING DOWN THE PAN )

The challenges faced by us and most of our rivals ( THE 16 ABOVE US IN THE LEAGUE )are there for all to see and we don't shy away from them. What's true is we are stronger, ( THAN THE BOTTOM 3 ) and we will make the biggest difference, when we are together.

At the end of a great week for the Club, (17th ) when we have been saluted both on and off the pitch, Wolves come to visit and we get back to what really matters for Evertonians. (BS)

I hope to see you at Goodison tomorrow.

Robert

Everton official's private messages are posted on fans' website

• Official believes his home email account was hacked into
• Chief executive describes action as 'wholly unacceptable'

A top Everton official believes his home email account was hacked into after private messages appeared on the internet.

A host of correspondence involving the director of communications, Ian Ross, including unused press releases and conversations with fellow Everton employees, was posted on a popular supporters' website on Thursday night. They were later removed by the website's administrators but were reportedly reproduced elsewhere.

Embarrassingly for Ross, alleged criticism from him of the Everton chief executive, Robert Elstone, was included in the emails posted online.

Ross also allegedly claimed working at Everton was akin to "working in a kindergarten". There was reference to "paranoia" and "financial meltdown" within the club. Ross is one of Everton's most senior and respected employees.

Merseyside Police said on Friday that they were aware of the incident but had not opened a criminal investigation. Although Ross has refused to comment, he believes his home account was deliberately targeted by someone outside the club, perhaps as part of an ongoing desire by a section of the Everton support to see Bill Kenwright sell his controlling stake. Kenwright and Ross are seen as close allies.
